It was a busy Day at the park today. These Stilts look like they were lining up for a concert.

There was a Mallard keeping to himself

as well as this Coot

I spotted this Norther Harrier Hawk hiding in a tree

Most exciting was this Burrowing Owl!

December 10 Lunar Eclipse

We went to the desert Saturday morning before sunrise to watch the lunar eclipse. Sara and I snapped some photos. We weren't the only nerds up at 5:15 on a Saturday. The desert on the reservation was filled with people witnessing the event!
