Mountain Trip

We left Saturday morning for a quick trip to Flagstaff.

Once we got into the mountains we saw lots of wild flowers in bloom,
We stopped at the Sunset Crater
And what to our wondering eyes should appear! An Elk

Last but not least, a beautiful Conifer Garden. Conifers all the way!

On my way home from work today I saw two birds. One familiar, a Great Blue Heron, and one unknown. Is he lost in the desert? I have some searching to do.
