The evening sky was Heavenly this week. There were storms in the distance, and beautiful colors everywhere.

We got up early this morning and took a walk through the Botanical Garden.

The Sun Gold Tomatoes are so sweet!
I'm not sure what kind of watermelon this is. It is a volunteer from the compost pile.
The Cantaloupe are almost ripe.

Backyard Birds

This may look like just a regular bird, but it is an Abert's Towhee. They are only found in the Southwest, and they visit my yard every morning. They are the culprits that were eating my sunflower seeds when I first planted my vegetable garden.
This morning few Gambel's Quail, wandered into the yard. That was a nice surprise!
